About Heather

Hi!

My name is Heather and welcome to my site. I am a wife, mom and high school teacher.  I am very active in my school community and I am also the President of my town’s historical society.  To say I like to keep busy is an understatement. 

In my spare time I love to craft.  For years I spent my time crocheting baby blankets, and scarves and hats for the needy. I became interested in papercrafting a couple of years ago and purchased a Cricut for myself and that is how Cards and More by HB got started. 

As I expanded my interest in paper and became adept at using the Cricut machine I began working with other mediums like vinyl, etching cream and wood burning.  Crafting, for me, is very soothing, it is my way of relaxing. I love to create new items and the more of a challenge the better. I love to make things for other people - that brings me great joy.
